Sustainability Trust Fit-Out recieves Green Ribbon Award

In 2012, GreenEarth partnered with the Sustainability Trust to convert a 900m2 concrete bunker in central Wellington into a shining example of sustainable construction. GreenEarth provided project management expertise, site management, and design input into a complex build. The space brings together businesses and community projects with a sustainability focus creating a vibrant hub for promoting and demonstrating sustainable change in Wellington.

The Green Ribbon Awards are an initiative of the Ministry for the Environment  (MFE) and 'recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals, organisations, businesses and communities to protecting and enhancing New Zealand's environment.

The build utilized appoximately 80% recycled and salvaged materials, non toxic materials and sustainable sourced new materials. It is a beautifal space with a multitude of recycled materials from the glass, timber joinery, carpet, ceiling panels as wall linings and pallets.
